About Chai Bunk Franchise
Chai Bunk is a chai café brand born in Hyderabad during one of the toughest times for the food and café industry. While many cafés were closing during lockdown, Chai Bunk took a different path – choosing to build a chai revolution instead of playing safe.
Chai Bunk was founded by Sandeep Bandari and co-founded by Harikanth, both coming from humble beginnings but armed with strong education and high-paying careers that they chose to walk away from. Friends questioned why anyone would leave a secure job to open a chai café, but the founders saw chai franchise opportunities that could change many lives, not just their own.
The Turning Point
Within five months, Chai Bunk grew from one store to five, proving a focused tea franchise could thrive amid lockdowns and uncertainty. Loyal customers returned daily for that comforting cup of chai, giving us strength in chaotic times.
In August 2021, our iconic yellow container cafe launched massively big, cozy, Instagram-friendly,This bold new concept sparked rapid growth, spreading to over 120 outlets across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu. Acquiring the beloved Chai Bandi brand and its 13 stores blended legacies, building a vibrant community united by chai's joy.
